Selsun shampoo with (Salicylic Acid) has helped with my problems. It's more effective against itching and removing flakes, dirt than any shampoo I've used. I live in a humid climate it's great for keeping my hair fresher longer. Remember to have one extra shampoo, cause no dandruff shampoo continues being is as effective as you first time used it. I use Neutrogena T-Gel with Pyrithione zinc in addition with Selsun to condition my hair once in a while. Both have different active ingredients to fight the dandruff.
