(More customer reviews)I severely damaged my hair using a product that changed it's formula. I'll tell you, it was CANTU. Loved it - until it changed. NEW is NOT always better. My hair became dry, very damaged and I experienced severe breakage and lost about 8+ inches of hair with the "new and improved" formula. I was devastated as it took me 3 years to grow that hair. Then on top of that I ruined my hair with bad color (can you say...Bozo the Clown?) Man, what I klutz I did on my hair.
I found this product and had my daughter apply it and fix my color (she's a hair stylist and I will no longer apply my own relaxer even though I have done so my entire adult life - I am almost 50!) This product is amazing and I noticed the results immediately with the first use. Hair loss was VERY minimal and with a good cut my hair is soft, glossy, healthy, bouncy and already I see growth after one week. AMAZING!! I'm still having a little breakage - but I expected that. I don't impress easy, but this produce is impressive so far. I moisturize my hair nightly and wrap with a silk scarf religiously. I do use light heat daily and I use Luster's Renutrients Slick Stick (pomade wax stick) - also amazing - Walgreens for both, check it out my sista's. You'll be glad you did.

(More customer reviews)I have naturally curly hair and a lot of it! I've also become overly sensitive to many products. I was frequently getting very painful pimples on my scalp when using other various shampoos and conditioners. I shampoo and condition daily (other wise my hair is not even manageable). It's proven to be very expensive to buy specialy medicated shampoos other than regular dandrif control shampoos. Not to mention that they leave your hair feeling striped and brittle.
Since I found Head & Shoulders Sensitive Care 2-in-1, my scalp problems are almost non-existant. I've been using this product for over a year now with satisfying results. I still wash my hair daily, and I can go up to two weeks without having a problem with a scalp break-out. I used to break-out bad after the second use of other products. If I use the specialy medicated shampoo at least once a week, and the Sensitive Care the other times, I normally don't have a scalp break-out. I just wish Head & Shoulders would sell the Sensitive Care in a conditioner only as well. Then I could use it with my specially medicated shampoo treatment without doubling up on the shampoo.
Just so you know, you won't get the "fancy" results you may get with some other shampoos or 2-in-1 products. But if you're like me, you can't use the "fancy" products regardless. This 2-in-1 leaves my hair soft and manageable and I've never experienced a build-up problem. If you have a senstive scalp like I do, try this product; you don't have much to loose.

I read on a blog that Nioxin was like fertilizer for your hair. So, of course I searched it, read other reviews, looked for the best price and purchased it. I did actually buy it from Amazon. It's way more expensive at Ulta. I have to admit it does work. I have flyaway hairs growing all over my head right now. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the mousse. My hair felt gritty when I had it on. Not bad, but I could feel it was there. I would recommend this product. We all loose hair for various reasons. I cannot tell you this would work for every situation. But I feel it helped me out in mine. Or at least it sped up the process.

Nexxus VitaTress Biotin Shampoo (10 oz) Review

(More customer reviews)I've been using the Biotin shampoo for a couple of months now and I found it to provide a thorough, gentle cleaning of my hair and scalp and, when used as directed, hair feels stronger, thicker. I don't believe I will be getting back to my previous brand (Nexxus Therape). While more expensive, the Biotin shampoo appears to be the best so far for my hair - for some background, I have a full head of hair but it's in the process of thinning and maybe my forehead broadened by half an inch in the past 10 years :) so I'm a lot more conscious of what washes my hair now than I was 10 years ago.
Biotin is part of the VitaTress line of products, designed for those whose hair is in the process of thinning. It is claimed that Biotin eliminates excess sebum, strengthens hair and adds thickness and body to it. I concur with these claims. When used as directed - massage into hair and scalp and let it stay there for 3 minutes before rinsing - the hair comes out literally 'squeaky clean'. It really squeaks if you rub you hand on your wet hair, or it does so for me. There is absolutely no feeling of discomfort while using the shampoo. Once the hair dries, it feels significantly stronger and thicker and it looks significantly healthier and more alive than before the Biotin treatment. The other claim, that this shampoo slows or reverses hair loss I can't verify. Maybe I'll come back in a year or 2 and share my findings but, as of now, all I can say is that my hair looks and feels good after I wash it with Biotin.
Additional facts worth sharing:
- A bottle this size is likely to last for a couple of months but some money can be saved when ordering the available larger sizes - 33 oz.
- While it's not stated anywhere, it seems to act as a conditioner. I would not use a conditioner after Biotin myself.
- For what is worth, the ingredients include: Jojoba oil, Biotin, Cysteine, Inositol and Methionine plus DHT inhibitors.
- Other ingredients include: Ginseng root extract, Ginkgo Bilboa extract, Swertia Japonica extract, Palmaria Palmata extract and so forth.
I will continue to use Biotin until I am made aware of a superior product. Until then, I am happy with it.

I kept the product even though this is not what I needed or ordered. I must say, though, that I was surprised because I have never ordered anything from Amazon that was not the right thing. It just never occurred to me that someone would send a product that was clearly not what I wanted.
I will continue to order from Amazon, but I am not sure I will be so quick to order from Amazon Marketplace anytime soon. I still really want my Conditioner!!!!
