- I swim in a chlorinated swimming pool 1-2 times a day.
- I swim in the Gulf of Mexico almost every day. Salt water is rough on hair and I am not sure if it is just salt water anymore.
- Use tons of 'product' while I grow my hair 'out', so there is a lot of build-up weighing it down.
Before going with an expensive brand of clarifying shampoo, I decided to try this moderately priced brand. No none recommended this, but my stylist advised to apply any claifier or clarifying shampoo for 3-5 minutes before rinsing. This I did. I liked the citrus-y smell and my hair looked a lot better. It had more body and texture and the dead head look was gone.
I have used this for the past 4 weeks (2 times a week) and my hair's appearance has continued to improve.
