It truly is fragrance free, but does not have a bad scent, as some do. (How boring, though, I want my tresses the scent of gardenia and ginger!). Lathers well, rinses well, hair is silky. I've tried other products that either do not lather or smell like a clay pit, and I always come back to this. I've bought this for years. Conditioner available also.
