You must keep adding water to it a little bit at a time, as you work the product into the hair, and it will never really foam like traditional shampoos because of the natural ingredients. You must also take the time to rinse it out carefully. It really does leave the hair very silky, soft and shiny. There is no need for a conditoner unless your hair is very dry and damaged. I recommend brushing the hair before shampooing to get all the tangles out as it helps to work the product into the hair better. Once you start using products by Leonor Greyl, you won't want to go back to the "other stuff". You might even want to skip expensive, damaging highlights/color treatments, and spend the money on these products instead, your hair will thank you! I was told that if you do color your hair, these products will keep the color lasting longer.
