Prior to using Provilus I tried another hair growth treatment that was applied a couple times a week when sleeping, the other product grew hair, my wife and kids noticed, but then it went into a state of maintaining and not growing anymore. When it didn't seem I was growing anymore hair I decided to switch to Provilus since web information was so positive for this product. After switching to Provilus I didn't notice any change, I wasn't loosing hair but wasn't growing hair either. In reading the Provilus propoganda it said it may take over 6 months for results, so I waited, up to a year now, and I'm not gaining any hair. The amount of hair I have is the same as a year ago, but on the positive side I haven't lost any more. Recently I have looked into hair transplantation. I'm thinning on top but still have hair. A transplant will cost me around $3K which is what I'm planning to try next. I have found that even with a transplant, the doctor recommends a maintenance program such as Provilus or Rogain etc.. So I'll likely continue with Provilus or go back to the original product I was trying knowing that I won't be growing new hair, just keeping what I still have.
