(More customer reviews)When I used this shampoo, it left my hair feeling like straw. It took an insane amount of deep conditioner and hot oil treatments to get my hair back in manageable condition. I assumed I must have done something wrong and kept using it. After using it 3 times and getting the same results, I decided to look at the ingredients and there it was: SODIUM LAURYL SULFATES. That's a big no-no for my hair (African-American hair in its natural state, type 4a). Needless to say, that was the last time I used that shampoo. I was totally caught off guard because this brand is touted amoung the "natural" hair care lines. I still use some other items from this line but the shampoo definately got tossed.
